Polycarbonate has several medical approvals; the material has no FDA approval, but is nevertheless widely used for food purposes because of the tight hard product surface. With SLS components, material can invariably always be released. Indeed, it is melted from powder that is at the interface (i.e. product surface) or glued, but is not completely melted.
